The next Sydney Shift will be held early on Saturday 3rd May.
The Shift day in February turned out to be a great day of discussion and interaction as we looked at different aspects of how we “do church”. We celebrated the Lord’s Supper over lunch in New Testament style, although the pizzas provided a cultural exception to the early church practice. This was followed by worship time and open church as many contributed along the lines of 1 Corinthians 14:26.
“But the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you” is the promise of the prophet Isaiah, and this is coming to pass in the Church that Jesus Christ is building. Faith is rising among the saints for the supernatural of the Holy Spirit, for miraculous healings and the manifestation of the life of Christ within each of us. Paul urges us to earnestly desire the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. This is not for our glory, but for His glory as He arises upon us.
Watch this space for further details very soon.
