SIMPLE CHURCH = A circle of friends sharing their lives with each other in Jesus’ presence, worshipping God and encouraging each other to follow Jesus and to share Jesus by His Word and Spirit, with the intention of birthing other simple churches….. (without the 4 ‘Ps’, ie paid Pastors, Preaching , Property and Program dominance)

I think those 4 Ps sum up the problems with ‘legacy’ church (as Felicity calls it) very well.
We bought Felicity’s Guide to simple church planting, but have found it a bit hard to use. I’ll have to give it another go!
