Home Church Methodology.
There is a third way home church can happen.
“There are those that transfer the “big church” experience to a small group in a home or rented hall if a suitable home is not available. This happens by focusing on “the service” with hymns, communion and sermon with a cuppa or a meal afterwards. With careful thought and determination to change, that church can become an “organism” of church that focus on relationships and building one another in their walk with Jesus. The focus is more on sharing with one another and intentionally growing in the “one another” passages in the New Testament. Worship and teaching, in an open relaxed atmosphere, flow from a more grass roots experience of what God is doing immediately amongst the group.
