We have lots of enquiries from people looking for a home church in their area. Sometimes we are able to help them and we have seen lots of folk become part of an existing home church, or else we have enabled them to start their own with a few of their friends. If you are in a home church we don’t know about, or if you know of a home church in your area, we would be delighted to know. OIKOS doesn’t run home churches or have any rights, control or power over ANYTHING other than our newsletter and web page and blog. We are a friend to home churches across the nation and across the church whether within or independent of the traditional church. We can be a help and encouragement to home churches through our teams and resources.
We are from a home church in Nowra NSW & recently were visited by Ross & Julie McKinnon from WA. We had never met before, but it really didn’t seem like that at all. The bond we share through our Lord Jesus Christ was evident from the start. What a wonderful night of fellowship was had as we shared a meal together, shared our life stories and our love for Jesus. Of course Home Church was very much the hot topic as well. We all agreed that only the Lord could take a couple from across the other side of Aus. and bring them into fellowship for the night with a group of people they had never met before. Thankyou Bessie for helping in us making contact with each other.
