It can be all too easy for us to lapse into forms of ‘religion’ and forget our calling to be ‘as Jesus’ towards a hurting world. Our ‘upward’ focus on the Lord has to be balanced by the ‘outward’ focus towards our neighbour. Not only is this true for us as individuals, but just as much for home churches. ‘Knowledge of God’ surely means our listening to Him and obedience to His will.
