Our gatherings with Peter Roennfeldt were wonderful. In Launceston I counted around 45 people participating–they sort of came out of nowhere! I got to meet quite a few people who are interested in nurturing the kingdom in small groups and homes, and I think they were pleasantly encouraged by Peter’s presentation. Our meeting in Hobart was a bit less exciting as we had only 9 people, but I got some excellent feedback from some of them.

Peter shared for about 2 hours at each venue, basically telling story after story of how little groups of people in various areas of Western Europe were wishing to do something for the kingdom. Peter would encourage them to use what they have and to just start touching people’s lives in real and practical ways. Using powerpoint he showed what many of these groups have grown into. Some became larger churches, but most remained churches in homes, cafes, and so forth. What was so amazing is that God has used even teenagers to build viable churches.
