Dear House Church Believers - fellow - members of the house of Faith. My name is Betty Ross and I live in Wellington NSW. The only other house church people in the vicinity are quite some distance away from our small country town.
I am married to Geoff, who has been unwell for some decades, and has become increasingly so in recent months. Geoff suffers Bipolar and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and so far no prescribed medication has helped him. I look after Geoff and also work part time to provide an income for us both.
We urgently need to move from Wellington to a more suitable environment with access to better medical facilities and support services to aide in Geoff’s recovery and myself in caring for him, and also to be closer to family.
In order to be sold, our small cottage desperately needs some repairs, a kitchen built and some tall tress professionally dropped because of their location close to the house. We have tried to sell the house as it is, and been advised by the estate agents that these are the problems stopping the sale of the house.
I am unable to do all these tasks myself as providing financilly for us, and looking after Geoff takes all my time. Geoff cannot work at all and we cannot afford to pay builders. We can get a loan to purchase building materials.
Are there any house church people who would prayerfully consider coming to Wellington to our rescue, to give us some practical help so I can get Geoff to a more suitable environment, where he can receive the medical attention and support services he needs.
